Jim was born in Peoria, IL and after earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University in 1985, he began his career at Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation in 1985. After a job transfer to Nashville in 1988, he began to realize how remarkable and relatively undiscovered the songwriting talent was in Nashville. In order to remain in Music City, in 1992 Jim made a career move into the healthcare industry allowing him to stay in town. He remains involved in healthcare and is the President and CEO of Sy.Med Development, Inc.
Jim has always had a love and passion for music and grew up listening to the late-sixties and early-seventies music of four older siblings. A passionate songwriter wannabe himself he began to research and invest in music publishing and that is when he and Butter first met. Jim and Butter have been friends for over 10 years and routinely discussed working together in various music opportunities. Finally in 2007, the two of them became partners in a music publishing company.
Besides being Isaac, Big Vinny and Butter’s number one fan, Jim is an ardent fan and listener of Kris Kristofferson, John Prine, Warren Zevon, J.D. Souther, Jackson Browne, Jim James and Jay Farrar. |

Jeff was born in Lawrenceburg, TN and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University. His love of music began at an early age, where at 14 he obtained a job as a disc jockey with the local radio station. As his career migrated to Information Technology, he moved to Nashville in 1984. Today, Jeff is CIO of Environmental Science Corp., an environmental testing laboratory.
Jeff’s love of music spans country, bluegrass, rock and pop. Living in Nashville, he’s had the opportunity to see the vast array of talent Music City has to offer. In 2008, he met Butter, Vinny, and Isaac. After brief introductions, it was obvious this group had a unique chemistry in both their friendships and their songwriting. Shortly afterward, Jeff became an investor in their music publishing company.
