The Writers
  Isaac Rich
PHOTO: Issac Rich Isaac Rich was born in Amarillo, TX and moved to middle Tennessee at the age of 7 where he has lived ever since. Isaac earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Plant and Soil Science with a minor in Secondary Education from MTSU and was well on his way to being a high school teacher before joining KMA. Isaac’s pursuit of a career in music is not surprising given the musical roots in his family. Isaac’s father is a well known pastor with a powerful singing voice and his brother John is an established songwriter, producer, and recording artist.

When Isaac isn’t writing songs or otherwise enjoying the music scene in Nashville, he can be found fishing, hunting or refurbishing antique furniture. “It’s good to have a job I didn’t have to be taught how to do and that I absolutely love. I get to work with all of my best friends every day, if you can even call it work, and I really can’t think of anything to complain about. It’s hard to ask for anything more than that in life.”

  Bigg Vinny
PHOTO: Bigg Vinny Vinny was born in Linden, TN where he attended high school and began working at the local Sonic drive-in when he was 16 years old. Three years later Vinny was promoted to General Manager and under his leadership his home town Sonic evolved into one of the most efficient Sonics in the chain. However, Vinny's heart has always been in music and at the age of 18 Vinny began playing the guitar, singing and writing songs and when he was 21 he joined Trailer Choir where his skills as an entertainer really exploded. Vinny commuted 3 1/2 hours almost daily to be part of the music scene in Nashville until he joined KMA as a song writer at the age of 22 which enabled him to move to Nashville full time.

When Vinny's not singing, dancing, writing songs or otherwise enjoying music he can be found beating Butter into submission in a game of Madden. "'If you're walking through life you're running out of time' is how I live my life. I want to do it all. I want to take over the world one smile at a time. I love everybody."

  Butter
PHOTO: Butter Butter was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, where he lived until moving to the Mufreesboro/Nashville area to attend MTSU where he earned a degree in Communications with an emphasis on the music business. Butter has put his degree and his love of music to work in a variety of ways on music row over the years including as a song plugger, an engineer, and working on the A&R and production sides of the business.

Despite Butter's extensive experience on the business side of music, the real heart of his talent is in his abilities as a song writer and a performer. One of Butter's most powerful songs "Last Man Standing" is currently licensed by an affiliate of CBS Broadcasting for their internet production "Survivor Live." Butter developed and leads the band Trailer Choir which appears regularly on Billy Block's Western Beat and was also featured by Deanna Kay on CMT Loaded in December 2006 as "Ones to Watch". Deanna must have been on to something because in June 2007 Trailer Choir was signed to Toby Keith's record label Show Dog Nashville and immediately joined Toby on the road for his Big Dog Daddy Tour which extends through September.

The Management
  James (jim) Aylward - President
PHOTO: Butter Jim was born in Peoria, IL and after earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University in 1985, he began his career at Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation in 1985. After a job transfer to Nashville in 1988, he began to realize how remarkable and relatively undiscovered the songwriting talent was in Nashville. In order to remain in Music City, in 1992 Jim made a career move into the healthcare industry allowing him to stay in town. He remains involved in healthcare and is the President and CEO of Sy.Med Development, Inc.

Jim has always had a love and passion for music and grew up listening to the late-sixties and early-seventies music of four older siblings. A passionate songwriter wannabe himself he began to research and invest in music publishing and that is when he and Butter first met. Jim and Butter have been friends for over 10 years and routinely discussed working together in various music opportunities. Finally in 2007, the two of them became partners in a music publishing company.

Besides being Isaac, Big Vinny and Butter’s number one fan, Jim is an ardent fan and listener of Kris Kristofferson, John Prine, Warren Zevon, J.D. Souther, Jackson Browne, Jim James and Jay Farrar.

Jeff Chandler - Chief Information Officer
PHOTO: Butter Jeff was born in Lawrenceburg, TN and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University. His love of music began at an early age, where at 14 he obtained a job as a disc jockey with the local radio station. As his career migrated to Information Technology, he moved to Nashville in 1984. Today, Jeff is CIO of Environmental Science Corp., an environmental testing laboratory.

Jeff’s love of music spans country, bluegrass, rock and pop. Living in Nashville, he’s had the opportunity to see the vast array of talent Music City has to offer. In 2008, he met Butter, Vinny, and Isaac. After brief introductions, it was obvious this group had a unique chemistry in both their friendships and their songwriting. Shortly afterward, Jeff became an investor in their music publishing company.

Aside from the “guys”, Jeff enjoys Allison Kraus, Vince Gill, James Taylor, Chris Thile, Joe Ely, Lyle Lovett, and John Hiatt.
